Fold Up in You

I want to fold up in you
And listen to you breathe
We can watch the thunder
And the wind against the trees

Storm bolts against the sky
Rain falls upon the roof
And I just lay here peaceful
Next to you
The pace of you’re heart soothing
In tune with how you’re moving

Keep me safe from harm
Resting within your arms
I can feel you smell my hair
And run your fingers through
I wonder what it is about you
And I smile out loud

You think I’m asleep
And I pretend to be
I hear your thoughts
And I can touch your words
Keep them as my own

Silently I’ll wait
I wont say a word
But I can taste forever in the air
